Schools Rugby Rankings

Schools Rugby Rankings rates every South African boys' first XV rugby school from its results, with the same published formula for every school. It is independent: no school, union, sponsor or broadcaster chooses the order.

Rankings are a guide to form, not a verdict on a school, its coaches or its players. Schools play very different fixture lists, and a rating built from a few matches carries more uncertainty than one built from twenty.

If a score, date or school name is wrong, email hello@schoolsrugbyrankings.co.za with the match, the right score, and a link or photo that shows it (a school newsletter, social post or results page). We fix confirmed errors at the next update and the ratings recalculate from the start of the season.
